Check In / Check out
Check in time is generally 2 pm, however, subject to availability, requests for an earlier check in time may be accommodated.
Check out is usually 11 am. Subject to availability, if you would like to have a later check out time, or stay over, we would appreciate your advising our office the day prior. Late check outs are subject to a $ 15 hourly charge.
Individual Guest reservation cancellations are subject to a minimum 3 days/72 hours notice prior to date of arrival.
Group or Team reservation cancellations of 3 or more rooms and staying 2 or more nights are subject to a minimum 7 days notice prior to date of arrival.
If a Guest or Group Member fails to cancel within the above conditions we will charge their credit card a minimum of 1 night’s charge plus any applicable taxes.
Non Smoking Policy
For the convenience of the majority of our patrons all of our rooms are non smoking. Guests choosing to smoke may do so outside away from any open doors or windows.
If a registered guest or any of their visitors chooses to smoke in our rooms, or causes any of our rooms to suggest the odour of smoke, we will either charge their credit card a minimum $ 200 cleaning fee or any deposit will be forfeited.
50 % of our rooms and suites are designated Pet Friendly however, please note, this does not include our Superior Queen Room or our Superior Queen Suite.
Your pet must be registered with the office in a designated pet friendly room. There is a nominal $10 per night pet charge. Unregistered pets will be charged at $ 25 per pet.
Some of our human guests have allergies and require pet free rooms. To ensure their health safety, owners with pets in “no pet” rooms will be charged a MINIMUM cleaning fee of $ 100.
Pets must be leashed at all times when in public areas of the establishment and kenneled if left unattended in your room. Any dogs that become stressed when left alone in a strange environment and are prone to barking are not to be left unattended.
We also have a supply of Pet Blankets and cloths for cleaning off any muddy paws.
Customer Service Guarantee
We pride ourselves on our personal service both at our Motel and assisting whenever possible in making your stay in Pacific Rim’s Alberni Valley area more enjoyable. Our office stocks a large variety of local and regional information and we are always happy to help you plan your stay with us. If there is anything we can do to make your travels in our region more enjoyable please let us know.
While it has never been our plan or policy to double book sometimes plans go awry and mistakes do happen. If this does occur we make every effort to make amends. We want your business and we want you to return and stay with us in the future.
Although we are unable to guarantee a specific room request we do guarantee that we will have the room type you reserved at the price you reserved. If, for some unforeseen circumstance, the room you reserved is not available we will upgrade you to a larger room for the same price. If we have no rooms left we will make arrangements for your accommodation at an equal or better accommodation property at no increased cost to yourself. We pay any difference.
Your privacy is important to us. This policy tells you what information we gather about you, how we would use it, to whom we may disclose it, how you can opt out of the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information, and how to get access to the information we may have about you.
We collect information about guests such as name, automobile license number, make and year, credit card number and special needs, interests and preferences. We may collect information from you directly, from a member of your family, or from a business associate making reservations for you. We may obtain it by telephone, in person, by mail, by fax or by e-mail. We may keep the information in written form or electronically. By providing this information to us, you enable us to serve you better.
We use the information collected to make your stay more enjoyable, to assist in arranging payment of your accounts, and to provide further information to you about our facilities and our programs.
We will retain your personal information only for as long as required by the law or as necessary for the purposes for which it is collected. Your personal information will not be used for other purposes without your consent.
We will not disclose any personal information collected about you to anybody else, unless required to do so by law, except when we provide the information to firms we retain to assist us in forwarding additional information to you, or in collecting funds owing by you. If our business is sold, we may provide the information to the purchaser of our business.
We will comply with all laws which require us to supply the information to government agencies and others. We will not otherwise sell, transfer or trade any mailing list which includes your information.
Keeping Information Secure
We will keep written information in a secure place in a locked cabinet. If the information is stored electronically, it will be password-protected and available only to those members of our staff who require it.
Access to Information
If you wish to review the personal information we keep about you please contact our Privacy Officer at the address set out below. At your request, subject to applicable law, we will delete your personal information from our records.
Obtaining Your Consent
By providing personal information to us, you are consenting to us using it for purposes set out above and disclosing it to the parties described above.
